Family Home, east sussex

A converted Dairy, this unusual building has interesting architectural details and spaces, which combine to create a beautiful family home.

the brief To create a scheme for a formal drawing room and adjoining library, maximising the available natural light and complimenting the existing hallway décor and architecture.

the design A soft palette of off-white and grey were used in both spaces to visually link the spaces and compliment the existing grey stone hallway floor, whilst creating an inviting and relaxing space. To flow from the adjoining hallway, a pale grey-based carpet was fitted throughout and this helped to soften the level changes between the rooms.
