the design A formal drawing room, decorated in a colonial-style, uses a palette of gold and off-white, accented with black. The dining room has hand-painted Chinoiserie silk paper and a large crystal chandelier, antique gilt-mirror and wall sconces, adding sparkle for evening dining. The large kitchen has a relaxed atmosphere, dominated by the shiny black Aga. Broad stripes in off-white and a pale grey re-proportion the room. A dark gym and cinema use pale reflective surfaces help to maximise light. Children's bedrooms were decorated with colour and pattern to meet their individual requests. The master suit has restful warm gold tones and soft brown accents to compliment the oak architectural features.
